Not very interesting -- just a lot of rocks, and some mountains in the background. But if the point of the thread is "roads I love," that's certainly one of them!

Here is another shot of the same road at daybreak, with the sun just hitting the peaks, after a dusting of snow during the night. DW is strolling up the road toward the mountains. This shot looks a lot better when enlarged -- it might be worth clicking on, if you have a big monitor:

I'm sure the only way to really get the "FEEL" of the shot is to get to the Spot of the Shot - Your Locations, along with Ken's (4runnerguy - he goes there, just keeps most of the Images in HIS head) are the Best - Your Images are some Few people see but all enjoy looking at.

Thanks for sharing - my problem is there are few roads I don't enjoy when I'm in the West, especially Colorado, two weeks ago we flew out to watch the Grand Daughters while my son and his wife spent the week, with friends at 11,455' in a Hut, Skiing and Snowmobiling, I had to drive him and the Snowmobile up so I could have the truck to haul the Kids around. He felt bad about me having to drive up in a snow storm and then come back to pick him up at the end of the week.

I loved it - Colorado Rockies in the Winter - Heaven!
