(1) There isn't any issues if you stay in Rocky Point. It's in the "No Hassle" zone, so all you need is a FMM if you plan on being there longer than 72 hours. However, I strongly recommend that you get Mexican insurance for your vehicles. At the least you should get Liability and Legal. Check out my Insurance sticky at the top of this forum.
