It is about three miles from downtown, so you won't be walking to any of the local watering holes or restaurants (although it does have a good bar and an excellent white-table-cloth restaurant on site now), but it has the biggest sites by far, all full hookup and most with 50 amp power. It's right on the beach. It's reasonably priced. Last winter the park Wi-Fi was getting 2-3 Mbps until the spring break crowd showed up. The vendors stay on the beach unless you invite one into the park. We bought excellent shrimp from the vendors, at about a dollar a pound more than we paid at the malecón in town.
If you want cheap, you can boondock on the beach adjacent to the park for $5/day. That gets you access to dumpsters and the park Wi-Fi and laundry.
