Just a quick reply from a guy who lives in Rocky Point and who works with a lot of RV clubs. If you are planning Rocky Point at Playa Bonita in 2017 Feb or Mar, you may want to make plans now as spaces will b at a premium. Playa Bonita fills up often during these times. Another choice on the same beach is The Reef RV park and in the mirador area is Playa de Oro. There is also a brand new park set to open for next season called Sunset RV park, it is close to Playa Bonita but not on the water. If you need assistance please let me know.
On edit, I too love Kino Bay and San Carlos and I still have lots of friends in those places and I have visited other places that I love so much, but I made my home in Rocky Point 10 years ago and never regret a day of that decision.
