Route 23, Catskill, NY

I am planning a route from Cairo, NY, to Oneonta, NY. I am finding that route 23 is the most direct. I am wondering about the amount of twisting and turning this road has. I know that 23A through Tannersville,NY is not what I want to haul our travel trailer on.

Please advise.

    We drove 23 across the north edge of Catskill SP, and DW (the driver) was not all that impressed. We have a 40yo Class A and avoid blue roads when we can and try real hard to by-pass toll roads.

    As you are from the north country, you have to be accustom to non-straight roads.
