how many have traveled the famous route 66, partly or the entire route. how many have been to the route 66 intersection that crossed itself?

Yes, Route 66 is worth the trip. Be prepared for many people along the way at historic stops. We leap frogged almost daily with a motor cycle caravan from all over the world. Be prepared for some walking. Bridge across Mississippi River near St. louis is a great walk!
