Route from Moab, Utah south to Albuquerque, NM
As stated in subject, we would like to travel highway 191 to I-40 and east to Albuquerque. Any advice on road and things to see or do. Will be traveling end of Sept.

Drove 191 last September and it was fine. I recommend turning east at Ganado and going thru Window Rock to Gallup. It was a good road too and will save you a few miles over staying on 191 to 40.
Last September, I found the gas prices on the reservation to be LOWER than off the reservation.
