Route from new Orleans to Beaumont tx
Has anyone used rt.90 from new Orleans to Baumont TX rather than go over the bridge at Baton Rouge? How is the road for s 30' tt?

Good and more up-to-date advice from prichardson. I echo the comment about I-10 being rough around Sulphur, LA. Be aware that the I-210 bypass around Lake Charles is down to 1 lane each direction on the high level bridge over the river due to a widening project. It backs up pretty badly, especially during rush hour.
