route from san antonio, tx to alburquerque, nm
we want to go from san Antonio to albuquerque at the end of this (jan)month. Concerned about mountains hauling 38' 5th wheel. Anyone have a good --not mountainous route. Thank you.

To avoid mountains take I10 west to I25. It's not too bad going up to Lubbock and out through Clovis but there's a heck of a hill climb returning from Albuquerque headed east. There's several options if you take the northern route. If interested I can give you more info. For variety go west through Clovis and return through El Paso.
