How about thru Presidio down highway 67? Decent road?

We are going to contact the Green angels in September. You can see where the ramps are going on google earth. In the photo you can see both interechanges with 15D & 80 D in the same photo. I want to take a group following the red line. That is because the black blob I put in is a Pemex on the ULSD list. Coming from Patzcuaro towards the bottom right right and heading on the new road according to my arrow. You cannot double back on 15D from that Pemex, at least not without going through the toll booth you can see at the far left. The issue is the 80D juction at the top( N 20.5862 W 103.0996). it was not complete back in March. I was headed north to 80D off the bypass on a sunday. No workers and I ended up against a concrete barrier with my trailer. I was actually able to get around it on the shoulder, across gravel, and get onto 80, but it was very tight. BTW the ramps at the junction with 15D at the bottom were largely complete with some already in use. (N 20.6139 W 103.0999)

Please pursue the by pass extension. We'll be heading south before you this year. Thanks-maybe we'll run into you again!

Are you driving a truck that uses ULSD? That may affect your route decision to maximize fill-ups of ULSD. There are none from Guadalajara to PV according to the list I have from Pemex. BTW do not use hwy 70 to get from Guadalajara to PV, its too steep when you are towing,south of Mascota unless maybe you have an exhaust brake. Use the south periferico around Guadalajara then then 601 to Tula to rejoin 15D. There is one pemex pumping ULSD past Tula. PM me if you need instructions on bypassing Guadalajara, it's complex. The new toll hwy is open to just north of Chapala, but they were working on the interchange to get onto it from 80D or 90D last spring. I will check it out again in December. You can get onto it eastbound from 15D, but not westbound last time I was there. i may get the Green angels to check it out for me in September, but there is an alternative.
