Just curious as to routing... When we left The Likely Place this morning we just automatically set out Garmin to Bend and took our normal route through K. Falls and 97... Our Garmin kept wanting to ...

Hwy 31 from north of Lakeview to LaPine. We did it 2 years ago. The scenery is enchanting and beautiful. The road surface is NOT. My road atlas says it's 120 miles. I drove 90-100 miles of that distance at 40 mph. Unless ODOT smooths it out and resurfaces it I'll not travel it again. A word to the wise is sufficient .
