Route Southern MO to Mercedes, TX
Is there a good route from southern Missouri to Mercedes, TX that avoids Dallas and Houiston? Also, trying to avaid a route that has a lot of small towns on it. Thanks.

Here is the route we would take.
I live in the Dallas area.
Although this does go through Dallas, it takes the 635 to I-20 loop to the south side which is typically not bad traffic if not during rush hours.
