Rt 82 Artesia to Alamorgodo NM
How steep are the grades between these two points? I am driving a 6cyl Toyota MH.

Drive from Artesia to Cloudcroft is very scenic drive.
Drive from Cloudcroft to Alamogordo is were it drops ~4300' in elevation in 12 miles.
Good road and easy curves just downshift and use braking sparingly so as not to overheat them
