I've pulled the 5ver over that stretch 4 or 5 times. It's not that bad. Well marked and the speed limits are low. Just be careful, and it is only about 5 miles.
Doesn't it have some curves and grade just inside the park? - C-BearsExplorerYou won't have any problems on that stretch of road with your fiver and TV. We did it last summer. For me it was a very enjoyable pull.

- Mike_TavernitiExplorerVery scenic, nice road.
- Jim_ShoeExplorerI've taken that route as well as continuing on to Bozeman and taking 191 south.
89 is 55 miles to the north entrance. 191 from Bozeman to the west entrance is 90 miles. I usually take 191 because I stay at Grizzly in West Yellowstone. Depends on where you're going to camp. Since I drive a 'C' and pull a Jeep toad, I like to get settled in Grizzly and drive just the Jeep into and around the park. The north entrance was more interesting, since that's where the old Army barracks are and there's usually a bunch of elk roaming the streets. Either way, you're going to love your FIRST visit to Yellowstone. You'll be back. - CougarnewbieExplorer89 is great. Two R. V. parks in Gardner Mt. We have stayed at both.
Enjoy
AL - rv2goExplorer IIGreat route. Follows the Yellowstone River a great portion of the way. I've done it in both directions several times.
