Rt19 from Waynesville to Cherokee
Would like to know how Rt 19 from Waynesville to Cherokee,NC is, pulling a fifth wheel.Thanks for any help with this or any other insights about western NC, Dave

It's better to run 74 around to Cherokee, Quicker, and easier. . 19 has 9% grades going up, and coming down. Not really a good towing road. However. There is a Campground at the top. and it comes out right at Happy Holiday CG. But they will tell you not to use 19.
