- RedskyExplorerIt helps to fuel up mid morning after the morning commute rush has past. When the pumps are empty you have more options for getting in and out without problems and having access to an outside bay.
- prichardsonExplorerPatterson, New Iberia, and Broussard all have stations on or just off US90 that have good pump access. There ar also others within a mile or two of the highway at towns between those mentioned. LPG is available at both Gautiers RV and KOA which are both off I-10 in Lafayette.
- Kit_CarsonExplorerI always start looking to re-fuel when I get to 1/2 tank. I feel this gives me a little more time to pick and choose where I can get in and out easy. Works for me.
- rockhillmanorExplorer IIIMHO a visual of the stations is really the 'only' way to tell.
Next Exit does NOT tell you if the 'driveway' IN to the gas station is RV friendly or if there is 'parking along the front of the store'. Both of which are NOT RV friendly. :W - sealevel_ramExplorer

"The Next Exit" is a valuable guide for interstates, but alas, not US-90.
Get on Google Earth. You can follow along the highway and look at all the stations from an aerial and a street level view.
For instance, it looks like the Chevron at the intersection of highway 14 and US-90 near New Iberia is a good bet.
Of course, actual experience of some responders is the best. - AtleeExplorer IIYes, but the OP was asking about US 90 in LA.

- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerMinnows Cash Magic station in Broussard. The KOA in Scott LA has propane.
http://www.amerigas.com/find-amerigas-propane-locations/ look for the red propane tanks. There is refill in Lafayette at GAUTHIER RV CENTER

SCOTT, LA 70583 - OasisbobExplorerYou asked about RV friendly gas stations. Not clear on what you are looking for. Your best friend in all this is practicing to increase your ability and confidence level to maneuver your rig. Hope that does not offend you. I did not mean to. Find an empty parking lot and practice practice practice. Happy Trails my friend.
