- Sea_DogExplorerAnyone thinking of visiting the Halifax area, should Google "Halifax Explosion"
The most powerful explosion until the A bomb! - RolinExplorerHi, a couple of other RV sites to consider:
There is a KOA campground that is right on a lake. Looked nice and seemed to have a variety of campsite sizes when we toured it. We did not camp there.

Then there is Woodhaven RV Park. We enjoyed our stay there. It is fairly large, and looked like it has space for RV Caravans with a meeting hall.

Enjoy the Halifax area. - Grey_MountainExplorerHow close to Halifax? Wayside RV park in Glen Margaret on Peggy's Cove road is about 30 miles away, and the view at the lighthouse on Peggy's Cove is awesome. We've stayed there a couple of times, and driven into Halifax from there.
There re 50amp sites, but we opted for a 30-amp since those sites provide a view of the water.
GM - Sea_DogExplorerShubie is good!
- wifExplorerX2 on Shubie Park. It's in Dartmouth (across the harbor from HFX, but easy to get across the bridges from one to the other.
- NCWriterExplorerShubie Park is very convenient for the city. You drive through a residential area to get there. Sites aren't the most level I've seen, but workable. We saw some good sized Class As there. (See article currently on motorhome.com - click travel - for a campground photo and the website/phone number.)
