RV parking near Orpheum Theatre in Omaha NE?

DD and I are considering driving to Omaha next May to see Wicked. Taking the class A and NO toad would make the drive much easier on me, but of course that depends on being able to park it reasonably near the theatre for the performance - we can easily do overnight elsewhere although I would be pleasantly surprised if there was a CG downtown. Less than 6 blocks away (for parking) would be ideal.

Anyone familiar with that area have a suggestion? I am very familiar with the benefits and drawbacks of taking the toad and I haven't ruled it out, just would prefer not to if feasible.

  • Is the proposed toad four down towable? Even if so you’ll need a hitch and braking system. If not four down towable, a dolly is even more expensive. Make sure it will not scrape in driveways etc. Some small cars are too low, like Prius. Why anyone wouldn’t be very careful when purchasing a vehicle that might be used as a toad is beyond me.

This is a good idea. Or there is a park on I 80 south and west of Omaha probably a 1/2 hour or so from the theater. My wife and daughters have been to that show and loved it!
