With the time constraints Google the fastest route to Denver,
From Denver and explore Colorado going West on I 70. Continue on I70 to I15 in Utah and take I15 to Zion area. From Zion go to the Grand Canyon if you have time do the North Rim and South Rim. From Grand Canyon Google map the fastest route San Diego and then Google the fastest route back to Vermont
