Safety while stopping overnight to get some sleep

Have stayed in all the above without incident.
Like casinos, WMs, Sams the best, but have stayed in truck stops and rest areas if nothing else available when we want to stop.
We always plan ahead for all stops except a couple of times for really rotten weather.

Important: Keep the key to your tow vehicle or toad by your bed. If you feel threatened, punch the alarm on your key ring. You will annoy people and attract a lot of attention.
