Safety while stopping overnight to get some sleep

For God's sake, this is America . Your not safe anywhere, and the second you think you are, something will happen. Watch your back out there. I've been robbed once, home invasion once, and shot at once, and this was in a neighborhood with homes no less then 300k . All down in beautiful Miami.
