I know many US citizens who travel 1500 miles or more to Mexico for routine dental care, for example, because the cost is so much less.
I am talking about people who are employed full time and are not RVers.
Obamacare is gradually improving the situation for non-dental stuff, but it still does not cover dental very well. A root canal with crown is thousands of dollars, paid for by the patient.
