Always have loved the Canadians ever since I was stationed at Loring AFB in Caribou Maine Loved to go across the border and drink their beer.
When I was discharged in Dec 1959 my wife and I traveled across Canada on the portions of the Queens Highway that was just being built. We ran out of gas and a RCMP took care of us and we were also given a free breakfast at a truck stop. Brings back a lot of good memories.
Been to Canada a lot since then and have always bee treated great.
I hope we can treat the Canadian snowbirds as well.
