San Diego (Encinitas) to Borrego Springs...
Looks like 76 and 78 are the two options. Either way it looks pretty hairy at the end.

You could also take I-8 and exit at Ocotillo Exit #87. Take S2 into Borrego Springs. It's an easy, pretty drive with a RV but longer than the other routes.
