That's a long 2 lane road, lots of curves and level changes.. it's a mountain road that is a favorite with bikers. There is a reason I've lived here for 35 years and never taken an RV in these hills. If you want to add a few extra hours and lots of stress to your trip, then have fun. You are way over complicating an otherwise simple trip.
Suggest you look at CURRENT maps of Santa Clarita, take the 126 until it turns into Newhall Ranch Road, that will turn into Golden Valley, and back onto the 14
