Secondary road may not save time
We had a plan to take non-interstates in order to see more of the countryside. Well, that's a good plan, and a valid goal, but... We recently had occasion to put our plan to the test without the RV...

Some states are real nice to travel the secondary roads and some aren't !!! States like KY, VA, WVA, PA, TN, to name a few you are better off staying on the interstate unless you are looking for a little driving adventure. In those states it's not worth it to me unless I was just looking around and in no hurry and didn't care where I ended up or what happened.
