Security issues in Guaymas, San Carlos and points south

The main question is, does this impact RVers. In my experience of over 10 years taking an RV all over Mexico, the answer is no. An acquaintance of mine was shot in Vegas last year in that hotel incident. You can be in the wrong place at the wrong time anytime or anywhere. That does not mean you need to stop living your life. At least violence in Mexico tends to be targeted within the drug trade.
