We go to Sedona and have stayed at the Sedona RV Ranch. Not bad but as they said pricy. We now stay at a relative's west of town. If you take 17 to 179 a couple items. The last 5 miles or so is a steep downhill. Keep a close eye on your speed. 179 to the RV park will take you through about 9 fairly large round abouts. Not an issue in itself but a pain none the less.
If you go to the next exit (number 293) and take Cornville Road to 89a, it will be a bit longer but you only have 2 or three round a bouts at he end and some traffic from the high school to the campground.
