Sue, the earthquake probably isn't related to the problem. More than likely just some simple answer, such as a giant sea monster grabbed it and pulled it under. LOL as one of the AMHS engineers said, it is perplexing as to what could have happened. There are 24 individual air chambers in the dock, that have been inspected within the last year. Wonder if there is a crane barge in Alaska or this part of Canada capable of lifting the dock out of the water to determine the problem and fix it. They may have to bring equipment out of the Seattle or Vancouver area. Hopefully they will be able to get it fixed quickly so as not to disrupt ferry traffic.
