- HokiehallExplorerI live in the Lynchburg area not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway and have been disappointed in this year's color, at least through here. While there are some individual trees that are beautiful, overall they have dried up and fallen off before really changing. Was up on the parkway last weekend between Peaks of Otter and Otter Creek and most had already fallen.
- rjf7gExplorerWe're past the peak here but still beautiful. I live at the foot of Afton Mountain. http://www.virginia.org/shenandoahnationalparkfallfoliagereport/
- JamesBrExplorerThanks to the cold snap of down to 28F last Thur/Fri timeframe most of the leaves from Lynchburg all the way to MD have started to change over and probably will as others said "peak" soon.
- BipeflierExplorerDrove through Great Smokey Mt. NP last Thursday. Nice colors. I'm guessing peak time would be about now.
