Well you didn"t expect them to do all that asphalt work out in the hot sun did you?

Some roads will have school zones marked and some pedestrian cross walks, see one of those signs slow down the tope will be not far, any small town and big ones of course will have topes, the ones in the shadow of a tree are the hardest to detect, I just slow down between 30 mph and max 45 mph when going trough towns forget high speeds the damage to the suspension can be very expensive.

15D from Empalme to 60-70km north of Obregon is good
Rough breaks to Vicom, lots of single lane detours
About 5km further south is new concrete highway
The route south thru Obregon is disgraceful, even for Mexico. They should fire all the Polictcos and start over.
Obregon to Navajoa is OK

Taquila:

Go slow south thru villages south of Hautabampo. Many topes.
I hit a "shade tope and almost lost it!
Make sure your group has surge protectors for El Mirador. Water pressure is low. We are running off out tank

15D is a bit rough to Santa Ana, then good to Hermosillo

Hermosillo bypass is really rough with lots of potholes

15D is rough for about 20-30km south. Slowed to 45 in some places

15D is great to San Carlos. We are parked at Totonaka

In November, Santa Ana to Sonoyta was great, heading east.
