We'll be heading back home to AZ this summer after a trip to Colorado Springs and are considering taking Co hwy 160 west from I-25 to Durango for a more scenic route than I-40 west. Any info on Hwy 1...

Not noted above is that there are two lanes going down all most all the way down the west side of Wolf Creek pass. So you can get in the right hand lane and go as slow as you want without worrying about holding up traffic. Likely as not there will be trucks going down at about 25 mph. And if all else fails, there are two runaway truck ramps for you. :D
