From between bandon and Brookings, what is the best route back to the valley if headed north toward Portland? Towing 27’ TT.

I've taken Hwy 38 Umpqua Hwy and while it looks twisty, it is a great easy scenic road. You pick it up in Reedsport and it comes out just below Cottage Grove. Great little winery in Elkton also.
