Spring has sprung!

Came down to Orlando on I-75 yesterday with a busload of teenagers. LOTS of snowbirds heading back north. Nearly as many motorcycles (most on trailers) heading south.
  • They better STAY down there. The wather up North is not very good. I woke yesterday in Rochester NY to 20" of snow, and 5 degrees F.
    WINTER is NOT over.

That's because of Bike Week in Daytona and then yet another one called BikeFest in Leesburg, FL!

If you are down in Florida DO the Bikefest in Leesburg, It's absolutely amazing. AND...it's Fun and safe for ALL age members of the family. Tons of food, booths, music, things for children to do also, etc. Leesburg knows how to put on a safe 'family' event. It's held in the historic district with hundreds of unique retail stores that your DW with love your for taking her!

I've met numerous older bikers in CG's where they drive their RV down with the Harleys in the back or towing them in a trailer just to join in the fun of the BikeFests. Best time I've had in CG. CG's fill up real fast during bike week.

Did I mention that I really really liked BikeFest in Leesburg! :B

We have gone through those same scenes at least three times here already this year. Here lately all of the ROBIN and CARDINAL BIRDS have come out of the woods and are everywhere.. They are scratching for food with the yards full of snow cover. You go out there and clear out a ten foot circle under a tree and there will be a hundred birds on the ground.

Then it warms up good and two or there days later here comes another snowstorm.

Sure has been a strange early spring season here in Northern Virginia which is normally pretty much non-winter situations here at all...

Your MO storm is suppose to hit us here tonight...

Maybe around the fourth of JULY we will start seeing continued spring conditions...
