Yuppers, southern Vancouver Island, the lower main-land, etc.
But one of the reasons housing prices are high in that region is all the Canadians who retire and want to live someplace 1) with health care and 2) little or no snow.
All that being said, rarely, like once every 20 or so years the region gets hit with up to a meter of heavy wet snow. Then it just sux and staying with the rig is your best option... Last time it did that here I had to go sweep snow off mine and my neighbors rigs, before the roofs failed and collapsed. Literally hundreds of roofs failed that storm. Several boat docks, with boat-houses sank. It was just plan ugly.
