Suggestions on routes from Las Vegas to Furnace Creek, DVNP

We're toying with the idea of taking the trailer down to DVNP next month and would like some opinions/suggestions on the route to take from Las Vegas to Death Valley. I am very familiar with the I-15...

Bell Vista road is good to go. You will have a fairly good pull after getting out of Sin City on Blue Diamond Highway. Called over the Hump to Pahrump.
