Summertime Trips ----- Where?

Red Eagle, I really wanted to hijack your thread, but didn't. Where do all you folks go for summer trips, mountains, where, what towns? I really don't enjoy sitting in my rig when it's 100 deg outside and the AC barely keeping up.

For years we went to the central coast of California which has beautiful summer weather. However, my wife informs me I am too old to make that long trip anymore. I represent, uhhh, resent that statement, but perhaps it is true.
