Best to get it. Sunpass rates are less than cash (where cash is accepted) or toll-by-plate rates.
Get the little sticker one to put on the inside of your windshield ($4.99) and I believe you get that cost in credits to your account. I did when I got mine, but that was years ago. Link it up to your credit card online and no worries.
