SW Iowa to Lansing Mi.

Question

Going from Creston, Ia to Potterville, Mi. Going east on 34 to I74 in Ill. Then to I55 north to 24. Then east to 421 then no to Michigan City. Then I94 to I69 then North to Potterville.

Anybody been on any of these roads lately? Anything to be concerned with besides the usual construction?

You're adding a lot of miles and time by avoiding 80&amp;94, but I assume that is your trade off to avoid NW Indiana.  Of your list, I can say is 55 is normal.

We've taken 24 a couple times via I57 from Kankakee all the way to Ohio good road. DW doesn't care for 80-94 traffic in IL-IN area, gotta keep them happy.

Just traveled this route today. Roads were good. Only problem is 421 is closed north of La Cross. Had to go east at La Cross to 39 then north to 6 then west back to Westville. But even that road was decent. Couple RR crossings are rough on 39 so slow down for them.
