Taking RV to FLA (west cost) to pick up mother in law

Howdy, I just was told we are going to Englewood Fla. tomorrow. Has any one else used their RV to move an older person up north - to keep out of hotels and rest areas... Just wondering what to expe...

This might be the best way, a friend recently had to fly for work and they said there were only three passengers on the whole plane!
