Texas to Oregon
We are planning a trip from Houston Tx to Oakland Oregon in a couple of weeks. Any advice on routes or attractions to visit along the way as well as places to stay will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Moab, UT (river rafting and Arches National Park) - a lot of rv parks will be closed still so plan ahead
- It's hard to give you a route not knowing how much time you have, what kind of RV, what your interests are, etc. We've traveled there often and we always choose a different route on secondary roads.
Purchase the 'Mountain Directory for Truckers and RVers' if you're concerned about mountains. There are plenty of public parks along the way and also RV parks. - Many different routes available. Out west, do you want to see the coast? The Sierra's? The Cascades? If your route takes you through Reno, NV, and you want a direct route from there,I would then take 395,36,44,89 and finally I-5.
