My post was clearly about the Baja. Not the rest of Mexico. Further at the one or two stations where I was told they didnt take cards...It was Foreign cards they didnt want. But when pressed they took it and it processed.
I am sure there are a few for reasons of communications or other factors that dont take them but my feeling is they are few and far between nowdays.
The entire purpose of my post is to let people know that much of what they read not only in the "Experts" books but also here is out of date and out of touch with the reality. IN the BAJA. I am not making any claims about the mainland. But I will when I get there.
