Yep - I get that - completely understood - but I look at this as the Mexico Forum where people who might be interested in visiting Mexico and traveling by RV look for information. My point was to try to clarify things others said as well as what I had posted previously. Things are changing rapidly in Mexico - just as they are all over the rest of the world. Some parts of the world will skip credit cards altogether and go directly to using cell phones to pay for things - as they are already doing in places like Kenya. But for those who come to this forum to learn about Mexico we try to inform them about as much about Mexico as we can.
Well you are to be commended for your efforts. But it strikes me that those folks who are contemplating going to Baja realize it is not the mainland and really are more concerned with the specific information for that location. Ie. They know the difference. But I welcome your point of view.
It is interesting to me that things are changing rapidly in Mexico but MOST of the written information including web sites are sorely out of date. With so many "Mexico Experts" and "Old Hands" out there you'd think things would be more current. Unfortunately not.
As for Kenya both my Mastercard and Visa and even my Amex was accepted there in places surprising to even me.
