we took excursions from the cruise ship that included: float plane trip landing on a lake in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful lake surrounded by majestic mountains! We took a boat ride to see eagles and wildlife. We were on land or water in Alaska every day of the cruise. We sailed into Glacier Bay and watched a seal calving on an iceburg and watched the glacier calve huge ice chunks. We took a bus ride that went by gorgeous waterfalls. We loved it so much that the next year we flew in and rented an RV. Saw more and different things with the RV trip. Loved them both.
