Feeling really foolish!

Friday the dw and I headed out to one of our favorite rv parks about 30 miles from home. Just to get away for the weekend and enjoy the first trip of season . The 30 mile trip took us over two hours because of traffic from spring break. When we arrived I was frazzled and beat from the stop and go traffic. Needless to say I was out of sync getting the rig setup and forgot one import step. The front landing gear was still up. When I released the hitch and pulled forward I was quickly reminded of my mistake!. I quickly lowered the landing gear and accessed the damaged. Just a few scratches on the rv and some indentations on the top bed rails of the truck. This could have been much worse and has taught me a valuable lesson. Stick to my check list. Still feeling foolish though. :o
