8 miles.... That's crazy.
We got out for a bit last night and the traffic felt like an 8 mile backup. It got better but still slow moving headed into pigeon forge.

Hey Helmsley! I looked at River Plantation and Riverside. Chose Riverside not for any real reason, just put my finger on it. It's all good. Darn traffic the other day. 40 car pileup on I78W with an 8 mile backup.

Well, we are all setup at River Plantation. Got DW, DD1 and DD2 out for the first weekend in the new camper. Traffic was pretty bad coming in but seems to have died down some now.

Heading out Sunday for a New Years Trip! Staying at Pine Mtn

We are actually headed up that way tomorrow for the weekend. Should have some pretty nice weather.

One more day!....after today that is.

Thanks Helmsey! Just got the new TomTom Via 1605M RV GPS.....gonna play with that for a bit to get used to it. Still some work to do on the TT. Pinched the main plug to the truck last trip ( a little too jacknifed at Taco Bell...:M ). Friend's going to wire that back up for me. Then have to push forward the WD setup. Looks like CampersWorld has it back a little so the chains hang at an angle instead of straight up and down.

Can't wait!!!

It's a nice CG, we have driven through it but never stayed there. And you will have plenty of dinner shows to chose from...just pick what kind of entertainment you are in the mood for :)
