Already done the around lake Superior from Minneapolis - now going to go the other way - What should I not miss between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg Thanks in advance

That is a very nice time of year to travel in Northern Ontario. If you plan to stay in any provincial parks, you should check to see if they are open. I suspect several will shut down after Labor Day. Private parks should be open though.
