I would suggest getting off of 5&20 in Seneca Falls pick up 414 in Seneca Falls then on into Watkins. 414 is the East side of the lake 14 is the west side. 14 is actually a more scenic drive but there is bridge construction going on in Geneva that will make maneuvering a rig unpleasant.
The other suggested route 96A has an underpass that may be a bit low.
12'11" I think. I go under it every day but I don't recall the exact signage.
In any case you can get 414 South in Seneca Falls or 96 South in Waterloo.
If you are at all interested The Womans Hall of Fame and Historical Park is in downtown SF although there is nothing but on street parking.
When you go into Watkins Glen make darn sure that you are right at 30 MPH when you hit village limits.
There is a lot of Amish buggy traffic on all of the roads in the Finger Lakes so be aware.
