x2 we have done this while towing and staying at a motel. We looked at the aerial map and also called and confirmed we can park at the hotel. Has never been a problem. We try to check in early to get the best parking spot out of the way.
We don't ever arrive early. Driving schedules have us pushing on more times than not.
But- we do make sure that we ask the front desk where they'd like our tractor-trailer sized camper parked for the night. :) They sometimes move us, sometimes don't. They're always pleasant about it!
