Traveling from Houston to Las Vegas
Is I-10 a good and safe route to travel with so much news of border crossings? Is the highway in good shape?

Driving on I-10 next week. My only concern is the potential for icy roads. I picked I-10 because it is the most southern route. Now I have learned that even it freezes in west Texas.
